AMI Quiet Times Evaluation

Hello Faithful Quiet Time Readers,

As we wrap up this year of AMI Quiet Times, we would like to get your feedback on the AMI Quiet Times thus far.  We plan on continuing the daily quiet time entries throughout the next year, and would like to hear how we can improve in the new year.

Please take some time to answer the following questions.  You may respond either directly to this post or email your answers to bkuboyama@gmail.com.

1) How have the AMI Quiet Times blessed you?

2) Which aspect of the quiet time entries did you enjoy the most?

3) How could we improve it for next year?

Thank you for your time, and may you be blessed as we wrap up this year together!

Warm regards,

They are so relevant to our daily lives and it also helps that it is easy to understand. They are often written in a personal way so I feel as though it engages my heart and mind at once.
    2) Which aspect of the quiet time entries did you enjoy the most?
Reflection portions, written prayers, and the whole day quiet time broken down into three parts. Although, I can’t seem to wait for the noon and evening portions and read on immediately after reading the morning devotional. 🙂
    3) How could we improve it for next year?
I like the format of it because of its simplicity. It’s easy to access from my phone too. Perhaps quick-links for past (monthly) devotionals.

Thank you for the devotionals. They are such a blessing!

Yes, everything that Jasmine said. I had the same thoughts especially about answer 3, having the ability to read archived blogs. Thanks for your service and faithfulness to our Father!

  2. 1) How have the AMI Quiet Times blessed you?
It was very hard at first in the beginning to start AMI QT with the Lord in the morning but as the days passed, I was very encouraged and blessed through this blog. I felt like God was speaking through this blog and it lifted my spirit.

    2) Which aspect of the quiet time entries did you enjoy the most?
I enjoyed all the entries that AMI QT offered especially the part where the authors shares the experiences and stories of the blessings, forgiveness, giving, and joy that they went through with God or how God had changed the life of people in the Bible and the people of this generations.

    3) How could we improve it for next year?
Maybe share a quotes or testimonies…

  3. 1) How have the AMI Quiet Times blessed you?
Posing challenging and relevant questions that helped me to grow.

    2) Which aspect of the quiet time entries did you enjoy the most?
The Morning Meditation, but I also get distracted during the day with other things, so I don’t check the blog as much after mornings.

    3) How could we improve it for next year?
Links to further resources on passages or recommendations on further reading. Also–mixed media? Maybe pictures, music, videos, etc.

Thanks so much for the blog!

    1) How have the AMI Quiet Times blessed you?
AMI Quiet Times blessed me tremendously! It helps me begin everyday with Meditating God’s words, and reminds me to be quiet before God at noon and night. What’s more, it helps many new friends to know God more since I shared AMI Quiet Times with them.

    2) Which aspect of the quiet time entries did you enjoy the most?
The morning meditation and questions for us to think about.
    3) How could we improve it for next year?
You’ve done a great job! By the way, is there any plans for next year? Will it cover the whole Bible or some specific books?
Thank you very much for your loyal services to our Lord! Merry Christmas!

    1. This is quite late in reply: Most of the times, I assign books to each writer to based their QT writings but sometimes (like this month), I leave it up to them. Devotions aren’t meant to be a thorough Bible study; the aim is to bless and inspire. Look to the Lunch Break Bible Study for that. Thanks, P. Ryun

    1) How have the AMI Quiet Times blessed you?
AMI quite times has been a good reminder for me the word of God is the LIVING BREAD, for everyday. Without the word of God I am starving my spiritual body!!! Every morning I see the AMI blog reminder in my email to feed my soul. Because of the convenience of my often busy mornings, AMI provides the bread in a quick effective manner via the blog.

    2) Which aspect of the quiet time entries did you enjoy the most?
I enjoyed the Morning section the most. Many mornings instead of just getting right into work, I spent the time reading this section with my cup of coffee. It always was a good reminder to live out the Kingdom of God, no matter where/what my profession takes me.

    3) How could we improve it for next year?
Sometimes the emails were inconsistent? I don’t know the systematic process of emailing blog notification but sometimes they were at inconvenient and inconsistent times. But not too much of a bother!

    Thank you AMI bloggers!
